The Boom Learning craze! Are you missing out?

It was March 2020 and the world seemed to shut down with the news of Coronavirus. As an SLP no longer allowed to be face to face with students I was desperate to find a solution to our new "distance learning." I had tried several other SLP platforms and have to admit I was really disappointed with the quality and quantity of the resources offered on them. This is when I so happily stumbled upon Boom Learning!

I was immediately floored by all of the creative products at reasonable prices! I bought a few decks, and lo and behold I was a Boom Card fan for life! Boom was the perfect solution to conducting speech therapy with no pen or paper needed! My sessions ran a lot smoother moving forward. I use BOOM decks during my virtual lessons now (in real time) on either Google Meet or Zoom! The best part? My students beg for them!

Details on using Boom Cards:

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account. How does it work?

Boom cards are bought by using "points." The above chart can be found on the Boom Learning page and shows how points work in the Boom Marketplace! I actually used my school supply budget on my boom account as most of my sessions will be virtual this year!

How is Boom different than other platforms?

Boom Learning is different than other platforms because it is 100 percent digital! As a seller, it is SUPER EASY to make "changes" to any product and have it updated immediately to other Boom users (instead of having to upload updated PDFs on other market places!)
